Did God really say?
Yes, He really said
And his promises are YES and AMEN.
Today’s Scripture: Genesis 3:1
We serve a really awesome God. When you read the book of Genesis, you would agree that it is evident that God took time out in creating the earth and in putting all things in order.
Today, I am calling your attention to something amazing. In Genesis 3 and verse 1, we see the first question to be recorded in scriptures. It was a question of doubt. Here was the enemy crawling up to Eve and saying, “Did God really say…?” As much as we might like to overlook it or term it as something minute, doubt is actually a very deadly thing.
One of the things which keeps many Christians from seeing the manifestation of answers to their prayers is the evil called doubt. The enemy tries to manipulate our minds, to make us believe the exact opposite of God’s promises and to fill us up with questions such as, “Will God really answer my prayers?”, “Does God really love me?”, etc.
When we begin to ask these questions which are rooted in doubt, we begin to rob ourselves of God’s best and that is exactly what the enemy wants.
However, there is always a way out. The first thing is to believe the word of God with all that you are and all that you have. God always has your best interest at heart. His ears are open to you and with Him, there is no reason to fear.
Now you know that one of the tricks of the enemy to keep you stagnated is to fill you with doubt. Do not allow it. You serve an unfailing God. Like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel 3:19- 30, trust in God with all of your being even in the face of trouble; it will always turn out in your favour.
Prayer Point: Father, I trust you and I yield all that I am and all that I have to You afresh. I refuse to doubt you or to believe the enemy’s opinions or tricks about your capabilities. I know that you have never failed and you won’t start now. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
