Do You Believe?

Believing God
Today’s Scripture: Acts 12:1-16

Peter had been arrested and the church gathered together to pray for his release. While they were praying, God heard them and Peter knocked at the gate. Rhoda ran to check and she saw Peter standing at the gate. Before letting Peter in, she ran to tell all the people praying that Peter had come, but they all said, “You are crazy!” She tried again to convince them and then they said, “It must be his angel.”

Does this not make you wonder? These people were praying fervently for Peter’s release, but they were either not really expecting their prayers to be answered or not expecting it to be answered so soon.

We are like these prayer warriors sometimes. We ask God for particular things or intercede for particular people and when changes begin to take place, we begin to doubt that they have actually happened.

God rewards those who diligently seek Him and He always gives ears to our prayers. I need you to believe without any iota of doubt that God can turn any situation around within the shortest possible time. If He could do it for Peter, He can do it for you because He is no respecter of persons. It does not matter if you have prayed all month for that particular thing, yet there seems to be no results. God will turn things around in your favor!

Action Point: Reaffirm your belief in the ever-present power of God and expect a miracle!
