Today's Scripture: 2 Thessalonians 3:16
What seemed like a simple conversation in today’s chapter turned out to contain one of the most powerful verses. The first time I understood verse 16 of this chapter, it hit me like a beautiful “meteor.” I realized that God was not just going to give me peace, He was going to do so by all means. This means He will willingly go out of his way, break protocols, and change laws just to ensure that I have peace.
You know what’s more beautiful? As a believer, God is ever ready to grant you peace by ALL MEANS. This is all I want you to hold on to today and this month. If it seems like things are going haywire at their eleventh hour, remember that the God of Peace neither slumbers nor sleeps. And you know what’s also amazing? He does not do things haphazardly or temporarily. He does not grant you peace in one area of your life, and make you filled with trouble in the other. His peace is everlasting.
For better understanding, let us also look at this verse in other translations:
AMPLIFIED VERSION – Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all.
THE PASSION TRANSLATION – Now, may the Lord himself, the Lord of peace, pour into you his peace in every circumstance and in every possible way. The Lord’s tangible presence be with you all.
GOOD NEWS TRANSLATION – May the Lord himself, who is our source of peace, give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
Dear Deep Roots Royal, peace is here for you today! Stand strong.
