God won’t love you
any more than he does now
Today's Scripture: Jeremiah 1:5
Whether you are at point zero, or whether life becomes a 100, God does not love you more or less. We serve a God who loved us even before we were created. From the thought to the making of our beings, he already loved us, and he still does. The things we do can accelerate us to certain positions in life; for instance, studying God’s Word consistently will grant you better understanding and revelation of the Word rather than someone who reads the Bible every Sunday, but the truth also is that the one who reads the Bible only on Sundays and the one who reads it everyday are both loved by God. Isn’t that amazing!
Take a look at today’s verse, God says to Jeremiah, ” ‘I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.’ ” NLT. We were predestined, preordained, created, and formed with intention. God’s intention means God’s love, and it is the best gift we will ever own. God loves you yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forever. All we need to do is accept that love and live in its reality no matter who we are, where we are, or where we are from (see John 3:16).
Action Point: Today, think about God’s love. You know your low and high moments. Thank God for loving you at evert moment and point of your life. Also, thank God because you know His love never fails. Then, bask in the reality of that love afresh: confess it, profess it, believe it, and act it.
