Find grace to help
in time of need
Today's Scripture: Hebrews 4:16
This entry is inspired by the words God spoke to me at some point. He said, “When you come into my presence, I don’t want you to think about your shortcomings, I want you to think about my magnificence.” What I understood based on those words is that I should look away from my inadequacies, failures, could-would-shoulds, and I focus on how amazing He is and has been. When I do this, I realize that even though I am convicted in my shortcomings, I am not condemned. rather, I can find grace in His presence, my loopholes and little foxes are revealed to me, and I can go ahead to make changes accordingly.
Now, look at it this way: when you are aware of how his magnificent presence works, you slowly begin to realize that this presence is not limited to the church or a fellowship with other believers. It is on the inside of you as a believer, because the Holy Spirit is within you. Hallelujah!
Action Point: Take a moment to seep yourself into His presence either in worship or by the study of His word, etc., and let His magnificence overshadow your shortcomings.
