Love Conquers All

Love conquers all.

Today’s Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13

As much as different people have different meanings associated with this word, I hope you always know that the most correct equation is God = Love. The best we can do, therefore, is to pray for His kind of love to find expression in all of our lives and to be expressed through our eyes, hands and hearts.

I have a simple task for you today. I saw this done at a program I attended sometime in 2017, and I want you to do it too. Please turn your Bibles to 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 and replace the word “love” or “charity” with your first name.

Try to say it out loud; determining the volume of your voice by the environment you are in right now.

NLT VERSION:
…………… is patient and kind.
…………… is not jealous or boastful or proud.

…………… is not rude.
…………… does not demand his/her own way.

…………… is not irritable

…………… keeps no record of being wronged.

…………… does not rejoice at injustices.

…………… rejoices whenever the truth wins out.

…………… never gives up.

…………… never loses faith.

…………… is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance.

Does this describe you? Does this describe the relationships you have? If no, then take action and make this a daily part of life, because this is the true meaning of love.

Action Point: Live out the true meaning of love in your life and in your relationships today (and every other day).
