Praise is my Dialect

The Word of God Is my language
Praise is my dialect.
Today’s Scripture: Psalm 22:3

“Yet you are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel”.

The King James Version of the Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His People. God dwells in the midst of your worship, praise, and adoration. What this verse tells us among many others is that God comes to dwell in the praise of our lips and he reigns supreme in the midst of it all. There’s a song in my native which interprets, “His food is praise. His food is praise. He eats no Eba. He eats no ikokore”. While ebaand ikokore are types of food, this song implies that God does not eat food like humans. Rather, he dwells on praise or “in praise” as we may preferably put it.

Your praise-filled life is what the dwelling place of God becomes; not your murmuring-filled life or your bad-attitude filled life. God does not just dwell in the sanctuary; He is right there on the inside of you! He is also concerned about what goes on the inside of you. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. It is what happens on the inside of you that eventually oozes out to the outside of you.

Are you willing to live a life filled with praise, even in the worst of situations? Then, ask God right now for the grace to live a life of praise.

Prayer Point: Father, I ask that you be enthroned on my praise every day of my life in Jesus name. Amen.
