Praise is the cure for worry.
Today's Scripture: Hebrews 12:28-29
There is something about responding to the negative with the positive. It’s mysterious, but beautiful at the same time. It’s responding to hate with love, selfishness with generosity, evil with kindness, and so on. The same applies when it comes to our lives. Many times, when we find ourselves downcast or thinking so much about the past, present, or future, the best thing to do is to praise God, and to smile in the midst of it all.
One of very proven and common factors in a believer’s walk with God is that God always comes through. He replies to our prayer requests with a “NO” sometimes, and we begin to wonder, I THOUGHT GOD SAID THIS WILL HAPPEN. In these times, I want you to be full of joy. Over the years, when God says, “NO”, it’s because He is the Father who gives the best to His children. Guess what? He will not give you the average. He would rather say NO than give you a half-baked testimony.
Today, take all songs of worry and turn them into songs of praise. Let your, “When will I get a job?” become “I thank you Lord because you are going to give me a job.” God sees. God knows. God is with you!
Action Point: Turn every song of worry into songs of praise.
